Introduction

Gita Gutawa yang sebelumnya mengeluarkan lagu Aku Cinta Dia,
katanya telah mengeluarkan Album Baru namanya Harmoni Cinta.
Namun, lagu andalan yang dikeluarkan adalah Parasit.
Lagu unik ini katanya hasil ciptaan Gita sendiri tentunya
masih dibantu ayahnya, Erwin Gutawa.

Lagu ini menceritakan tentang seseorang yang seperti parasit.
Ia selalu tidak punya modal apapun.Lagu ini juga cerita tentang
geografi (Gunung Sahara, Segitiga Bermuda,Kutub Utara, Samudera Antartika)
dan biologi (parasit, benalu, dehidrasi, hipotermia, oksigen).
Dalam videonya lebih banyak karakter jamur,padahal jamur bukan termasuk
parasit ,tetapi saprofit.
